Seven Years Week by Week

The pane fell to the ground and burst apart as if it never had more solidity than a lake of dreams. One of the workmen, Amdin, stared in shock. Urkan, the other, laughed.
"That's seven years for us, Amdin!"
"This was magic glass, not a mirror! We're in a lot of trouble here! We'll be lucky to get off with seven years of bad luck!" Urkan's laughter cut off. "I didn't say anything about bad luck."
"Huh?"
"Amdin. We have seven years to train to defeat the demon lord who was sealed in that glass."
"Huuuuuuh?"
