Doubts About the True Nature of Magic
Usually in fantasy magic is great at killing people, but if you go to a magic show, the guy cuts and stabs people left and right and doesn't kill any of them. I'm starting to think magic isn't worth much in a fight just like those Empire of the East books told me.

Addendum
You can, if you're being needlessly thorough, add in whether he can spell "questionnaire" without looking it up. I admit that I cannot. Hey, there's another question for the list. You see how it is. Pointless questions proliferate while the pointed go unaddressed.

I Forgot One
Bribery! Just huge piles of cash. That can solve most problems. Sometimes you need to get a little more specific and get somebody moved up on the organ list or something. But how do you get the money? Violence or mind control, probably.

Conflict Resolution
Wow! What a story! It looks like violence isn't the only way to solve problems. Government coercion backed by the threat of violence is another. There is no third method.
Wait, I forgot about mind control. The problem with mind control is that if you can do it once, why not do it nonstop? There are possible answers, but thinking is hard. I like swordfights.
